Guernsey FC leapfrogged East Grinstead Town in Isthmian League Division One South with a 2-1 win at Footes Lane.
Kyle Smith rounded goalkeeper Chris Haigh to put the Green Lions ahead from a tight angle early on.
Marcus Elliott pulled the visitors level but Thomas Dodds netted his first Guernsey goal, on the stroke of half-time, to give his side the lead again.
Dom Heaume saw his penalty saved by Haigh but the hosts still had enough to take all three points.
The win means Guernsey move into 17th spot, with East Grinstead Town a place lower in 18th.
Guernsey face Walton Casuals away on Wednesday.
