Truro City can cause an FA Trophy upset after holding National League high-fliers Forest Green Rovers to a 1-1 draw, according to boss Lee Hodges.

Andrew Neal's 73rd-minute equaliser cancelled out Keanu Marsh-Brown's opener to force a replay in Cornwall.

"Whatever happens, the boys should be patted on the back for what they have achieved," Hodges told BBC Cornwall.

"We live to fight another day and we'll be at home and hopefully causing another big upset."

Hodges admitted that at times his side were second-best against a team with a budget many times bigger than his own.

"To come here and get a replay was a fantastic achievement by everyone involved at the club," added Hodges, who was named National League South manager of the month last week.

"In the first half, it was a bit of a training session where it was defence versus attack, but we were very organised and pleased to go in 0-0 at half-time.

"We spoke about being patient and we would get the efforts at goal if we defended and didn't panic, which we didn't.

"The boys never dropped their heads and we got ourselves back in the game."
