Byron Harrison struck late for Barrow to deny Torquay a first win of the season as it ended all square at Holker Street.

James Gray got Gary Owers' Torquay reign off to flying start, finding space in the box to drill a low shot past Barrow goalkeeper Stuart Moore after six minutes.

Moore had to pull off a fine save to deny Jamie Reid as the visitors looked to seal the win, but Harrison extended their long wait for a victory by tapping home in stoppage time.

The result leaves Torquay at the foot of the National League, while Barrow sit 18th and have now gone three games without a win.
