Yeovil Town 1-1 Port Vale

Port Vale's run without a win was extended to eight League Two matches following a 1-1 draw with Yeovil at Huish Park - but it was enough to climb off the bottom of the table.

The Valiants, who began the day in last place, had the better of the first half with David Worrall and Tom Pope both going close.

Pope then gave Vale the lead on 29 minutes when Artur Krysiak misjudged a Tyler Denton cross and the striker headed it past the goalkeeper.

The Glovers got back into against the run of play from another goalkeeping error after half-time as Kelle Roos spilled a low Jake Gray cross and Otis Khan reacted quickest for a tap in after 65 minutes.

Things got even worse for the visitors in the 81st minute when James Gibbons, having only been booked seven minutes earlier, got in a scuffle with Khan and was shown a second yellow card.

Yeovil could not make the extra man count, though, as managerless Vale left Somerset with a hard-fought point.
