Solihull Moors 0-4 AFC Fylde

  • Published

Two goals in as many minutes on the stroke of half-time helped AFC Fylde secure a big National League win at bottom club Solihull Moors.

Jermaine Hylton had an early shot blocked by George Edmundson for the hosts, but Fylde grew into the game and Jack Muldoon fired over a good chance after being played in by Danny Rowe.

Former Lincoln forward Muldoon narrowly failed to turn in Luke Burke's low cross after 40 minutes but, with a minute remaining in the first half, Jonny Smith opened the scoring when he latched onto a loose ball following a corner.

Rowe then doubled the Coasters' advantage in first-half stoppage time, blasting home a free-kick which took a deflection on its way in.

Rowe turned provider with 14 minutes remaining to play in Sam Finley, before Muldoon added a fourth late on.
