Lukasz Fabianski hopes Swansea City have reached a turning point in their season.
The Poland international goalkeeper kept a clean sheet as the Swans beat West Brom 1-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
It was their first win in the Premier League since October and lifted them off the bottom of the table.
"Hopefully this will be a positive boost for us as a group to compete and get ourselves out of the relegation zone," Fabianski said.
"Hopefully this result will be a little turning point for us during the season."
Wilfried Bony's late winner eased pressure on head coach Paul Clement, with leaders Manchester City - Bony's previous club - visiting Liberty Stadium on Wednesday after their 2-1 win in Sunday's Manchester derby.
Pep Guardiola's side set a Premier League record of 14 consecutive wins in the same season when they beat United.
"It's positive you know, we were desperate for that win playing against a side in a similar position for us," added Fabianski.
"We put in a good brave performance and we were rewarded.
"And I'm happy that Wilf [Bony] managed to get one because it tells you he's coming back to his best."
The former Arsenal 'keeper added the players were happy for Clement after their win over West Brom.
"He's doing his best under tremendous pressure trying to get us going as a team," he said.
"He does well at the training ground and you can clearly see that and we're all behind him and trying to put in good performances."
