Welsh Cup: Connah's Quay Nomads beat Trefelin in Round Three

Cymru Premier champions Connah's Quay Nomads saw off the challenge of Trefelin BGC of the Cymru South to progress in the Welsh Cup.
Jamie Insall set Nomads on their way with a thunderous strike to give them a 17th minute lead.
Despite Nomads' domination, the 2018 Welsh Cup winners had to wait until the second half for further goals.
Paulo Mendes, Declan Poole and Insall's second of the game secured a 4-0 win and a place in Round Four.
Carmarthen Town, relegated from the Cymru Premier in 2020, beat Newtown 5-4 on penalties after the game had ended 1-1 while while Airbus UK lost 2-1 at home to Haverfordwest County.
Saltney Town of the third tier Ardal Leagues North West are the lowest ranked team remaining after they beat Penrhyncoch 4-2 on penalties after 90 minutes had ended 1-1.
On Friday night Cymru Premier leaders The New Saints, who were the last winners of the competition in 2019, secured a narrow 1-0 win at Conwy United thanks to Dean Ebbe's first half goal.
Also on in Round Three on Friday night Caernarfon Town won 3-0 against another Cymru North team, Prestatyn Town while Nathan Wood scored twice as Penybont won 3-1 at Cymru South team Cambrian & Clydach Vale BGC.
Colwyn Bay beat Cymru North rivals Ruthin Town 5-1 and Taffs Well beat Llantwit Major 2-1 in an all Cymru South affair.
Flint Town United, second in the Cymru Premier, navigated a tricky away tie with a 3-1 win at Penrhiwceiber Rangers of the Ardal Leagues South West, one of four Tier Three clubs remaining in the competition.
Fellow Ardal Leagues South West outfit Dinas Powys lost 4-2 at home to unbeaten Cymru North side Guilsfield, Monmouth Town of the Ardal Leagues South East lost 2-0 at Buckley Town
Bala, who scored 17 goals in the last round against Brymbo, were 5-0 winners over Cymru South side Pontypridd Town, who had secured their place in the last eight of the Nathaniel MG Cup in midweek.
In the two all-Cymru Premier ties, Matty Jones scored a hat-trick as Aberystwyth Town won 4-1 at home against Cefn Druids - who have parted company with manager Niall McGuinness - and Cardiff Met beat Barry Town 3-0.
