Flint Town United secured their spot in the Cymru Premier play-off final with a penalty shoot-out victory over Welsh Cup runners-up Penybont.
Jon Rushton was Flint's hero, saving two penalties as Neil Gibson's side won 3-1 after the sides had been level at 1-1 after extra time.
The Silkmen will be away to Caernarfon Town in the final after the Canaries beat Cardiff Met 1-0.
Mike Hayes netted from Darren Thomas' cross in the first half for the only goal.
The semi-final marked Cardiff Met manager Christian Edwards' last game in charge after 13 years at the helm.
The former Wales international had announced earlier in the season that he was stepping down at the end of the campaign.
Edwards had overseen Met's rise up the divisions and led them to a 2019 play-off final win over Bala Town which saw The Archers qualify for Europe
The ex-Swansea City, Nottingham Forest and Bristol Rovers defender described it as "an end of an era."
Play-off winners have previously secured a European spot but Wales lost their fourth spot this season.
The winners of this season's play-offs will play in next season's Scottish Challenge Cup along with The New Saints, with the final on Saturday, 14 May.
Alex Jones gave Flint a sixth-minute lead when a corner was flicked on.
Nathan Wood levelled from the penalty spot early in the second half with Ben Nash adjudged to have committed a foul.
The game went into extra time and the visitors were awarded their second penalty of the game after Kai Whitmore was tripped by Sam Duffy.
But Wood blasted his second kick of the afternoon against the crossbar and the game went to penalties.
Penybont's Kane Owen and Ashley Evans had their kicks saved by Rushton while Wood missed as Flint won 3-1.
