Striker Mitch Megginson's brace secured Cove Rangers victory over Raith Rovers on the Aberdeen side's debut in the Scottish Championship.
It took the 30-year-old only eight minutes to head home from close range following a Fraser Fyvie corner.
Megginson spun inside the penalty box to fire beyond goalkeeper Jamie McDonald five minutes after the break.
Robbie Leitch went close to extending the lead, while visiting striker Dario Zanatta was denied by a post.
