Greenock Morton 2-1 Cove Rangers: Home side consolidate fourth with comeback win
- Published
Greenock Morton came from behind to beat Cove Rangers and secure a third straight win as they consolidate fourth spot in the Scottish Championship.
Iain Vigurs set up forward Leighton McIntosh to head the visitors ahead before the break.
But, after a foul on Calvin Miller, Robbie Muirhead's penalty struck the bar and in off goalkeeper Scott Fox.
The striker then set up midfielder Robbie Crawford to fire a winner that moves Morton level with Ayr United.
Morton's third win in a row over Cove leaves the visitors with only one win in nine outings.
