Chris Martin: Bristol Rovers extend striker's contract to summer
- Published
Striker Chris Martin has signed a contract extension at Bristol Rovers.
The former Norwich, Derby and Bristol City man will stay with the League One club until the end of the season and the club retains an option to extend Martin's deal a further year.
The 35-year-old has scored 10 goals in 18 league games, including six in his last four, after arriving as a free agent in September.
Martin told the club website: "I'm delighted to get it all sorted."
He added: "Obviously, I've been in good form lately and I've been really enjoying my football here so it'll be great to continue until the end of the season."
He missed Tuesday's 1-0 defeat by Exeter through illness.
Bristol Rovers currently sit 13th in the table.
