Bristol Rovers boss Matt Taylor says everyone at the club must stick together after their comeback victory over Stevenage on Tuesday.
Goals from Luke Thomas, Chris Martin and Anthony Evans secured a 3-2 win from two goals down at the Lamex Stadium.
Taylor called on supporters to keep backing the team after exchanging words at the away end after the game.
"We need to stick together," Taylor told BBC Sport Bristol.
"We all share each other's frustrations when results don't go our way. I could talk at length about our 10 injuries, eight of which are starters, but that is an excuse. Every club has problems.
"We need to understand where expectations are. They've changed their manager already this season because of a poor run, partly because of injuries and availability."
Taylor said his squad need backing to give them more belief.
"It is a weak group at the moment. As much as we are giving them messages to build them back up, the game just goes 'bang', in any form. When that happens, they need to see strength.
"I've spoken about strength on the pitch; they need more behind them for a little bit longer. They can see it and believe it a bit more. That is what I want a Bristol Rovers team to look like."
The result has lifted Rovers up to 10th in League One, 10 points behind Stevenage in seventh.
