Reigning champions Celtic could find themselves five points behind Rangers by the time they face Motherwell on Sunday with the current leaders hosting third-top Heart of Midlothian in one of five games being played the day before.

Ross County host Livingston in a big relegation battle at the bottom.

Hibernian v Dundee

Hibernian continue to be without midfielders Josh Campbell and Jake Doyle-Hayes, while centre-half Owen Bevan has returned to Bournemouth after having his loan cut short due to injury.

Centre-back Antonio Portales and on-loan Burnley striker Michael Mellon return to the Dundee squad.

Diego Pineda, Charlie Reilly and Ryan Howley are not quite ready to return, while centre-half Lee Ashcroft has joined Raith Rovers on loan.

Aberdeen could have James McGarry back from injury, while fellow defender Slobodan Rubezic remains out with a knee injury.

Striker Kemar Roofe returns to the squad, but Danilo, Kieran Dowell and Abdallah Sima remain out.

Ross County v Livingston

Ross County defender Will Nightingale has a significant hamstring injury and is going to be out for 10 to 12 weeks.

Two on-loan midfielders - Forest Green Rovers' Teddy Jenks and Cardiff City's Eli King - could return following injury, while Ross Callachan is to return to full training on Monday.

But Connor Randall, Scott Allardice, Dylan Smith and captain Jack Baldwin remain out.

Livingston hope to welcome midfielder Scott Pittman and wing-back James Penrice back after injury.

But wide man Cristian Montano and goalkeeper Jack Hamilton are likely to remain on the sidelines, while midfielder Shaun Donnellan and winger Steven Bradley are injury doubts.

St Mirren defender James Bolton returns from suspension and striker Jonah Ayunga is back in contention after injury.

Mark O'Hara, Conor McMenamin and Ryan Strain are closing in on a return to action, albeit the latter is probably still two or three weeks away.

St Johnstone defender Ryan McGowan has had stitches in his foot and is doubtful.

Ali Crawford, Drey Wright, Ross Sinclair and Cammy MacPherson remain out.

Midfielder Blair Spittal, defender Calum Butcher and the versatile Andy Halliday have been joined by several fresh fitness doubts for Motherwell, but manager Stuart Kettlewell is hopeful some will make the game.

But Callum Slattery, Barry Maguire, Oli Shaw and Adam Montgomery are definitely out.

Celtic have defenders Alistair Johnston and Cameron Carter-Vickers, plus midfielder Odin Thaigo Holm, back from injury.

But Reo Hatate remains out with calf problems, while Liel Abada is not being considered.
