Highland League Fraserburgh delivered the biggest shock of the Scottish Cup third round, beating League 1 Annan Athletic 2-0 thanks to first-half goals from Connor Wood and Kieran Simpson.

There were also wins for Musselburgh Athletic, Clydebank, Elgin City and Broxburn Athletic against teams in higher divisions.

In the two all-Championship ties, Queen's Park needed penalties to beat Partick Thistle after a 2-2 draw, while goals from Mikey Devlin and Jamie Murphy took Ayr United through at Morton's expense.

Fellow Championship sides Hamilton Academical, Livingston, Dunfermline Athletic and Raith Rovers also won to reach the fourth round.

Airdrieonians are away at Dundee North End on Sunday (13:00), and East Kilbride v Falkirk is being broadcast live on BBC Scotland on Monday (19:45).

The fourth-round draw, which features all 12 Premiership sides including holders Celtic, will be broadcast after that game.

In a topsy-turvy game at Hampden Park, Queen's Park came from a goal down to lead Thistle 2-1 before Will Tizzard's own goal took the game to extra time.

Neither side could find a winner in the additional half hour, but the hosts held their nerve to progress 7-6 on penalties.

Elsewhere, Oli Shaw's double helped Hamilton edge past Banks o' Dee 2-1 and Livingston beat Brora Rangers 2-0 thanks to first-half goals from Reece McAlear and Tete Yengi.

Raith Rovers cruised to a 4-0 victory at Linlithgow Rose, while Dunfermline Athletic beat Edinburgh City 2-1 at Meadowbank.

East of Scotland League leaders Musselburgh continued their excellent season with a 3-1 win over Lowland League Bo'ness United, with goals from Nathan Evans, Callum Donaldson and Craig Stevenson.

Clydebank's Nicky Little scored a second-half double to knock out Highland League champions Buckie Thistle, and there were also wins after extra time for Brechin City and Broxburn Athletic, making it five non-SPFL sides through.
