Celtic & Rangers among sides through in SWPL Cup

Celtic swept through to the quarter-finals of the SWPL Cup with a 7-0 victory away to fellow top-tier side Montrose while holders Rangers needed three late goals to defeat Dundee United.
Goals from Mathilde Carstens, Celya Barclais and Morgan Cross, plus doubles from Saoirse Noonan and Kit Loferski, took Elena Sadiku's Champions League participants safely through to the last eight.
Rangers took until the 77th minute to net away to Dundee United through Kirsty Howat before Katie Wilkinson and Mia McAulay extended their advantage.
Glasgow City got the better of Hearts in a five-goal encounter. Wilma Forsblom and Samantha Van Diemen were two of City's scorers, the other an own goal.
Last season's beaten finalists Partick Thistle also progressed with a 3-2 victory over Spartans, with first-half goals from Carla Boyce, Cara Henderson and Lucy Sinclair proving enough.
Hibernian emulated Celtic's score with a 7-0 defeat of Queen's Park. Kathleen McGovern scored three, Eilidh Adams two and Linzi Taylor and Lauren Doran-Barr were also on target.
Hannah Stewart scored both goals as Aberdeen beat Gartcairn 2-0 and Boroughmuir Thistle put eight without reply past Livingston, with Emily Reid scoring a hat-trick.
Motherwell beat Hamilton Academical 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 score at 90 minutes. Megan Ann Quinn's opener for Hamilton was countered by Laura Berry.
