Derry City have signed defender Alex Bannon on a year-long loan from English League One side Burton Albion.
The 21-year-old Scot made over 50 appearances for Queens Park before joining Burton.
Bannon played 12 games for the English club before spending the second half of the season back in Scotland on loan at Airdrieonians.
There he featured 16 times and helped the club retain their Championship status, beating Stenhousemuir and Cove Rangers in the play-offs.
Bannon becomes the second player in as many weeks to join Tiernan Lynch's side having spent time at Airdrie, after the acquisition of Scottish forward Adam Frizzell last week.
Candystripe fans will see their defensive options bolstered with Bannon's versatility meaning he can slot in at centre-half or right-back.
Derry will be hoping to make it four League of Ireland victories in a row on Friday night when they welcome Waterford to the Brandywell Stadium.
