QPR sign Australian right-back Adamson

QPR have signed right-back Kealey Adamson from Sydney-based Macarthur FC for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old Australian made 38 A-League appearances for the club, scoring two goals.
Adamson is a two-time winner of the Australia Cup, first with Sydney FC and then Macarthur, and is also an Under-23 international.
"QPR is a massive club and an old club with lots of history. Even in Australia, I feel everyone knows who QPR is," he told the club website, external.
"It's a really attractive club, really well supported and the list goes on. I'm just keen to hit the ground running and get to work."
The Hoops will begin their 2025-26 Championship at home to Preston North End on Saturday, 9 August.
