Falkirk have promised "the strongest possible action" after claims that a Livingston player was subjected to racist abuse on social media following Friday's Scottish Championship match between the clubs.
Livingston won 2-1 to move to within a point of the hosts at the top of the table.
The Bairns said in a statement: "Falkirk FC strongly condemns the racist abuse directed at a Livingston player in a social media post following tonight's match.
"Racism has no place in football or society and we will work with Livingston FC to ensure the strongest possible action is taken."
Livingston stated on X: "The club are aware, saddened and angered at racially aggravated posts aimed at a member of our first team squad this evening.
"The club will be investigating and pushing for the strongest punishment possible."
