Defender O'Shea named Ipswich captain

Ipswich Town have appointed defender Dara O'Shea as their new captain for their return to the Championship.
The 26-year-old replaces Sam Morsy who joined Kuwait SC last month.
O'Shea joined Ipswich from Burnley in August 2024 following their promotion to the Premier League and the Clarets' relegation from the top flight.
The Republic of Ireland international made 35 Premier League appearances for the Suffolk club last season and captained the side on a handful of occasions when Morsy was absent.
