Newport County have signed former Sheffield United U21s striker Oliver Greaves on a two-year contract.
The deal for the 24-year-old is subject to Football League approval and international clearance.
Greaves left the Blades at the age of 20 following injury.
After dropping out of professional football following a loan spell at Barrow, the attacking midfielder restarted his career with spells at Dover Athletic, Buxton in the National League and Spanish club CD Almunecar City.
Last season Greaves scored 24 goals in 48 appearances for Mickleover in the Southern League Northern Premier Division.
Greaves told the Exiles website: "There was quite a bit of interest from a number of professional clubs last season.
"But as soon as I heard about the Newport interest, I could not wait to get it over the line, I am buzzing.
"I've heard nothing but good things about the fans and the club and I just can't wait to play in front of them."
Greaves is the Exiles' fifth signing as chairman Huw Jenkins continues his search for a new head coach having parted company with manager Graham Coughlan earlier this month.
This week defenders Ciaran Brennan, Anthony Glennon and Joe Thomas, plus midfielder Kai Whitmore arrived on two year contracts.
