Wycombe Wanderers have signed goalkeeper Shamal George from Scottish side Livingston and defender Caleb Taylor on a season-long loan from West Bromwich Albion.

George, 26, joins the Chairboys after the League One side paid a fee to trigger a release clause.

The shot-stopper signed for the Lions from Colchester United in July 2022, and made 80 appearances for the Scottish Championship side.

He came up through Liverpool's youth academy and had loan spells with Carlisle, Tranmere Rovers and Marine.

Meanwhile, Taylor, 21, moves to Adams Park on a season-long loan, with the Baggies having the option of recalling the central defender in January.

Taylor spent the second half of last season on loan at Bolton and has made 10 appearances in all competitions for the West Brom first team.
