Defender Omar Sowunmi has returned to Bromley from Sutton United for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old centre-back left the Lillywhites to join Sutton last summer, playing 43 times in all competitions as they were relegated to the National League.

Bromley were promoted to League Two for the first time in their history, defeating Solihull Moors on penalties in the National League promotion final at Wembley.

Sowunmi spent two years at Hayes Lane from 2021 to 2023, making 71 appearances and scoring 10 goals.

He played in the Ravens' 1-0 FA Trophy final win against Wrexham at Wembley in 2022.

The length of Sowunmi's new contract has not been disclosed.

Bromley's first match in League Two will be away at Harrogate on Saturday, 10 August.
