Liverpool boss Beard fears Lundgaard ACL injury

Liverpool manager Matt Beard says he fears midfielder Sofie Lundgaard suffered a serious knee injury in his side's Women's Super League win at Tottenham.
The Dane went down just after the 30-minute mark at Brisbane Road after a 50-50 challenge with Spurs defender Amanda Nilden.
Beard said afterwards she would need a scan but that it is "probably" related to her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL).
"I'm gutted for Sofie," he added. "That's the second time that has happened to her," he said.
"I think you could see the girls at half-time were visibly upset with the Sofie Lundgaard situation. I know [Marie Hobinger, Liverpool midfielder] put herself under pressure to win the game for her at half-time."
Lundgaard also suffered a knee injury in March, damaging her medial ligament and missing the end of last season.
