The i reports that "players and staff were visibly concerned" at Roy Hodgson falling ill during a training session with Crystal Palace on Thursday. They add that "former Wolfsburg and Eintracht Frankfurt coach Oliver Glasner is lined up to replace Hodgson" in charge of the Eagles.

The Metro also puts concerns about Roy Hodgson's health as the main splash on its back page. The paper notes that the 76-year-old Crystal Palace boss was "was taken to hospital accompanied by chairman Steve Parish but was later said to be walking unaided and talking to medical staff". Later in the article the paper notes on Palace's apparent decision to replace Hodgson that Parish "felt change was required after a run of four wins in 18 Premier League games".

The Times leads on a Formula 1 story but there's still space on the back page for an update on the future of Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson and his potential replacement at Selhurst Park. The paper says "Palace thought last week they had persuaded Kieran McKenna, their preferred choice, to take charge" but the former Manchester United assistant coach "decided he wanted to stay at Ipswich Town, who are targeting promotion from the Championship".

The Daily Telegraph also hone on Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson. They report that it "appears certain he wil step down for the remaining three months of his contract". The paper adds that "contrary to reports Hodgson was not about to be sacked yesterday" and was "scheduled to take training and then give a press conference".

Good morning.

Thank goodness it's Friday and the weekend is nearly upon us.

With a full round of Premier League fixtues we have a busy day of press conferences ahead of us.

Indeed, Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta are among those set to front up to the media at some stage today.

We'll also be looking forward tonight's Women's Super League encounter between Chelsea and Manchester City.

Of course, we will have an eye on any breaking news stories and transfer gossip, too.
