The paper notes that the 76-year-old Crystal Palace boss was "was taken to hospital accompanied by chairman Steve Parish but was later said to be walking unaided and talking to medical staff". Later in the article the paper notes on Palace's apparent decision to replace Hodgson that Parish "felt change was required after a run of four wins in 18 Premier League games".

    Good morning.

    Thank goodness it's Friday and the weekend is nearly upon us.

    With a full round of Premier League fixtues we have a busy day of press conferences ahead of us.

    Indeed, Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta are among those set to front up to the media at some stage today.

    We'll also be looking forward tonight's Women's Super League encounter between Chelsea and Manchester City.

    Of course, we will have an eye on any breaking news stories and transfer gossip, too.
