Goal-shy Lincoln's drought stretched to 378 minutes following a 0-0 draw with Stevenage.

But the Imps ended a three-game losing streak with a point from this mid-table fixture at Sincil Bank.

Stevenage, who have lost just once since the start of December, started brightly with Carl Piergianni having a goal ruled out for offside.

Tom Bayliss forced Stevenage goalkeeper Murphy Cooper into a good stop with a strike from the edge of the box inside the first 10 minutes.

Defender Piergianni proved a threat once again as his header was superbly tipped over by George Wickens.

Louis Thompson rattled a post with a strike on the half-hour mark and Cooper was alert as he pushed Jovon Makama's shot over on the stroke of half-time.

Lincoln saw a goal of their own ruled out for offside from Lewis Montsma, before Wickens produced a save from close range to keep out Tyreece Simpson.

Both keepers ensured the points were shared in the final 20 minutes.

Cooper saved a low effort from Jack Moylan before Wickens kept out Harvey White at the near post.

Makama should have stolen victory for the visitors when he fired over from six yards.
