Nottingham Forest v Leeds United (Sun, 14:00)

    Leeds United

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke also spoke, or rather refused to speak, about his plans for the January transfer window: "To think about it, I have but to speak about it no. After Christmas we will speak about it more, but not right now.

"We are focused so much on our group and I can't waist 1% of my energy to speak about it.

"I will make sure that with this group, I will make sure that until the 1st of January we play as competitive as possible."

  2. 'We won't take any risks' on Gnonto and Calvert-Lewinpublished at 15:20 GMT

Nottingham Forest v Leeds United (Sun, 14:00 GMT)

    Leeds United

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke also gave some team news before Sunday's match at Nottingham Forest.

On Dominic Calvert-Lewin: "It was an abductor strain. It will be tight, so we will make a late call. He is not in team training, but we have a few more days and we won’t take any risks."

On Sebastiaan Bornauw: "Question mark on Sebastian. He got a hit against his MCL so there is a question mark."

On Wilfried Gnonto: "He has been back in training for two full weeks. It's good to see him back in training, so we will see if we take him. It’s not a risk anymore because he is back in training."

On Dan James: "In terms of fitness he is back and ready to start again. We need him but we need to find a good balance on creators. Dan fits several of our winger types, so we need to find who starts the game."

  3. 'You can’t expect us to make as many chances as Haaland does'published at 15:18 GMT

Nottingham Forest v Leeds United (Sun, 14:00 GMT)

    Leeds United

Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has also been speaking to media about the pressure on his side to score more goals: "We are a newly promoted side, so you can’t expect us to make as many chances as Haaland does for Man City.

"For us our strikers know our position and we just want to score enough goals to stay in this league.

"The main thing is that we are successful as a team. I don’t judge my players on their goals and assists - it's also about their workload.

"It's not that we are not brave enough, we just don’t make enough chances."

  4. 'Returns from forwards not good enough'published at 15:17 GMT

Everton v Fulham (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

    Everton

A final word from David Moyes on Everton's lack of goals from strikers Beto and Thierno Barry, who have scored just one between them all season: "Last season, no-one expected Beto to score any goals when I came in. But he did fantastically well and probably helped make sure we are a Premier League team with his goals in the second half of last year.

"We are putting them under pressure to score goals as well. We need to give them that confidence and belief. But they have to give some back as well because they have to show us what they can do to earn the jersey.

"We are creating a bit but the returns from the forwards hasn't been good enough. But there are a lot of things we have to take into consideration - not just the centre forwards."

  5. 'We want Grealish to score and assist more'published at 15:16 GMT

Everton v Fulham (Sat, 15:00 GMT)

    Everton

David Moyes on Everton's Jack Grealish missing out on an England call-up: "I get asked about Jack in every press conference. We are pleased with how he is doing and we want him to add to his tally of assists and score a couple of goals more as well - that will help us a lot.

"Thomas Tuchel picks his England team and he has to decide what he wants. At the moment, Jack is doing really, really well for us."

  6. Ndiaye doing 'fine' after going off against Sunderlandpublished at 15:15 GMT

Everton manager David Moyes has been speaking before Saturday's game against Fulham about the fitness of Iliman Ndiaye, who was forced off after scoring in the 1-1 draw against Sunderland on Monday: "He's fine. He's trained today. Hopefully, everything is OK."

On Ndiaye's future at the club amidst rumours of a move away: "I don't always see the speculation because I am not looking probably. He's got a three-and-half-year deal here - probably more. So it's something we are fully aware of.

"It would be wrong for teams not to talk about him because of his form. But Everton are building a team here and we are building it with players like [Ndiaye]."

  7. 'Xhaka's knowledge about Arsenal is important for us'published at 15:12 GMT

Sunderland v Arsenal (Sat, 17:30 GMT)

    Sunderland

Sunderland's game against Arsenal is huge for former Gunner Granit Xhaka, who is now the Black Cats' captain.

Manager Regis le Bris has been tapping into his insider knowledge: "It's useful in different ways. His knowledge about Arsenal is important for us so we spoke together with the coaching staff over the week.

"The main point is belief, the way he can transmit confidence to the squad to tell the players we can win something against this quality. This part is also really important."

  8. Team news - Alderete ruled outpublished at 15:09 GMT

Sunderland v Arsenal (Sat, 17:30 GMT)

    Sunderland

On to Sunderland boss Regis le Bris.

The Frenchman said he had not fresh injury concerns before Saturday's match at home to Premier League leaders Arsenal.

His only concern remains Omar Alderete: "It's not really serious but the concussion protocol is really strict and we followed it so he won't be available this weekend.

"Probably he will get some minutes with his national team progressively and get ready for Sunderland against Fulham."

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has been speaking to the media after news that striker Ollie Watkins has missed out on selection for the England team for the upcoming international break.

Emery says he's 'so happy' with Watkins: "All his career he's shown that he's a fighter and he overcame a lot of situations early in his career through being a fighter.

"And now - keep moving forward. He has to focus with us again recover his good form, get confident.

"Yesterday we were speaking and I told him 'I am so so happy with you. You are a striker, you have been consistent all your career. From when I have arrived here, you've shown me your capacity to be resilient in all the moments we need to get fighting like you are and now I know you are going to recover and get your performance through being consistent and through fighting as you did and through focusing with us'."

    Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham manager Thomas Frank on Xavi Simons on his improved performance in the midweek Champions League win over Copenhagen: "I think every player needs confidence. Even the best in the world. When you go to a new club, it is not always that easy to hit the ground running.

"But the more confidence you get, the better you play. I thought he had a good performance. It was positive. It is a good step but there's is more to come from him."

  16. 'Liverpool have outstanding quality'published at 14:47 GMT

Man City v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

And Pep Guardiola finished by comparing Liverpool's season with Manchester City's in 2024-25: "I think we're feeling better but we have to prove it. After the defeat at Aston Villa, the win at Swansea helped us a lot. Then Bournemouth and the game against Dortmund helped us a lot.

"But I saw the [Liverpool] game against Real Madrid and the quality they have in all positions - it's outstanding. They're a top, top team.

"But together, you can beat an important rival."

  17. Guardiola on being be called 'the best manager ever'published at 14:45 GMT

Here is his response to being called the greatest manager ever by some: "They are completely right! The influence of every manager has been through history. Of course, I can say I've been part of that because the numbers explain, I've had success and it's been nice to watch my teams.

"So I'm there. But I never started thinking 'I want to be the best'."

More now on Pep Guardiola's comment on Rodri's availability.

The Manchester City midfielder came on as a late substitute in last weekend's victory over Bournemouth but had missed the previous month with injury.

"We will see tomorrow but we will not take a risk," said Guardiola. "We have the international break afterwards and you have to find the moment to feel strong and fit and sustain the actions in the game that are so demanding.

"We're still in November, the best part of the season is ahead of us. He is a massively important player for us and we are desperate to have him back, while knowing Nico [Gonzalez] has became a really important and good player."

  19. 'I miss Jurgen'published at 14:35 GMT

Man City v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

    Jurgen KloppImage source, Getty Images

Pep Guardiola on comparisons between City-Liverpool and El Clasico: "In Barcelona and Real Madrid the external noise is 1,000 times louder than here.

"The crowd in the stadium is quite similar, it's fantastic. We helped City to create this rivalry for the last decade. Before that it was United-Liverpool, I guess.

"What happened with the Jurgen period means this has been the biggest because maybe after the first season the Premier League was between us and them.

"Always I enjoyed this healthy rivalry. I always had the feeling of how much we respected each other. Jurgen gave me a lot and I miss him. He gave me a lot in terms of how much I had to do to try and beat him."

  20. 'Nobody wins the title in November'published at 14:31 GMT

Man City v Liverpool (Sun, 16:30 GMT)

    Manchester City

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola on Arsenal's lead at the top of the table: "If they continue to play games and not concede goals, it will be almost impossible.

"Always you expect that you can be better and they will drop points. All we can do is win our games and get closer.

"The last two or three years, after the process to rebuild the club and the team, they are there. It is exceptional what they are doing for two or three seasons.

"But it is early November. Nobody wins the title in early November. You can lose it - but nobody wins it."
