Airdrieonians got the better of Hamilton Academical in their Lanarkshire derby to move to within seven points of Dunfermline Athletic at the foot of the Scottish Championship.

Midfielder Adam Frizzell fired into the top corner after being set up by defender Lewis Strapp on the break after 64 minutes.
Accies defender Sean McGinty headed the leveller following a free-kick with seven minutes remaining, but midfielder Gavin Gallagher fired home two minutes later from outside the penalty box.
It ended a four-game run without a win over Accies, who remain a point ahead of Dunfermline in third bottom place after the Pars lost 1-0 away to leaders Falkirk.
