First shot of the night goes to Jean-Matteo Bahoya but it's awfully tame. A let-off for Spurs really because Eintracht Frankfurt had men over.

    Glenn Hoddle
Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

Tottenham have to stay nice and strong mentally in the first 20 minutes. If they go 1-0 down early they will find it difficult.

They've been giving goals away early but they can't afford to do that tonight.

    Rene Meulensteen
Former Manchester United coach on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United need to start the game strong and dominate the rhythm and pace of the game.

Lyon have got some tricky players that can cause you problems. I was disappointed with Lyon last week and I expected more.

If Lyon can hit the right spaces then they can cause Man utd problems.

Manchester United have unveiled this TIFO banner in front of the Sir Alex Ferguson stand.

Prominent is Wayne Rooney lifting the Europa League trophy when United last won it, under Jose Mourinho, in 2017.

There are three European Cups and a Cup Winners Cup on there too.

Away in Lyon last week Manchester United were unlucky, two goalkeeping errors cost them coming away from there with a victory.

I think Man Utd are a better team than Lyon. Lyon started the season slowly, they changed the manager and that's had an instant reaction.

The spotlight and focus on Onana is overshadowing the fact that Manchester United's defense is actually very poor. It's not just Onana, even the best goalkeepers today will struggle with this defence.

BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at Old Trafford

Manchester United's season is on the line at Old Trafford.

Victory against Lyon and they advance to a semi-final meeting with either Rangers or Athletic Bilbao. Lose and a wretched season will have its one remaining bright spark extinguished.

United head coach Ruben Amorim has a simple message in his programme notes this evening.

"Get ready to give everything," he said. "That is my only message to everybody involved with Manchester United ahead of tonight's decider.

"We must play with our hearts and our heads and that applies to players, staff and supporters."

The away Legia Warsaw support are very loud and will no doubt dominate the atmosphere here.

There is a much heightened police presence as a reduced 1,021 allocation of tickets was given to the Polish club due to safety concerns.

Uefa have fined Legia for 17 of their last 30 European matches, including for ugly scenes last season on a trip to Aston Villa.

    On starting Andre Onana...

Ruben Amorim will always tell you that was his plan because Altay Bayindir didn't play well at the weekend.

When Ruben Amorim took Andre Onana out, he had no intention of playing him tonight.

But because of the result at Newcastle and Bayindir was culpable for one of the goals, I think it backed Amorim into a corner and left the manager in a real predicament.

  18. 'Spurs need to be compact to win'published at 19:52 British Summer Time 17 April

Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham (1-1 agg, 20:00 BST)

    Owen Hargreaves
Former Manchester United midfielder on TNT Sports

You don't have to have 70% possession to win this game, look at Arsenal yesterday against Real Madrid.

You've got to defend well, be compact and hit teams on the break. If Tottenham do that they can win but if they play both full-backs in crazy positions it could be difficult for them.

  19. 'If Tottenham perform they have a great chance'published at 19:51 British Summer Time 17 April

Eintracht Frankfurt v Tottenham (20:00 BST)

    Les Ferdinand
Former Tottenham striker on TNT Sports

Tottenham had a load of chances in the first game but they also gave up a lot of opportunities. If this group of players can perform the way we know they can perform then they have a great chance of going through.

  20. 'A first for Old Trafford'published at 19:50 British Summer Time 17 April

Man Utd v Lyon (20:00 BST)

    Manchester United

A huge banner will be on show in front of the Sir Alex Ferguson Stand before kick-off - the first time a tifo has been unveiled at Old Trafford.

Manchester United worked with fan representatives on the idea and image. It was then shared with Bruno Fernandes to get the captain’s seal of approval.

The 'tifo' will be raised from the ground to the roof, in front of the halfway line.

United say the banner will create a "spectacular moment" before kick-off.
