  1. Man Utd must improve at the back - and the frontpublished at 19:21 British Summer Time 17 April

Manchester United have shown definite signs of improvement in recent weeks as they get to grips with Ruben Amorim's famed 'system'.

Results have not improved, largely because they give cheap goals away - as they did last week - and don't take their chances - as they did last week.

United simply have to improve in both areas of the pitch, otherwise this will be a really difficult night.

It's more season-defining for Spurs than Manchester United.

For United, they can use transitional excuses. Whereas the Spurs project is two years old and Ange Postecoglou has said: "I always win something in my second season".

It's more important that Spurs win this competition rather than United.

It is obviously a massive game considering the season Manchester United have had.

Very poor in the Premier League, knocked out of the two other competitions and this is the only one left.

At the end of this tournament there's a big prize, but more than anything it gets you back into the Champions League and that is vital for Ruben Amorim to be able to build Manchester United back to their best.

It is hardly a surprise that Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has stuck with the side that started the first leg for the deciding clash with Lyon at Old Trafford.

United played quite well for long stretches and once Joshua Zirkzee was ruled out due to injury and Amorim had confirmed Andre Onana would start in goal, it was fairly certain it would be the same team.

Chelsea fans need to trust us - Maresca

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has urged fans to trust him and says the team is improving under his leadership.

The Italian, 45, saw his team jeered by some fans while they were losing at home to Ipswich on Sunday in a game where they eventually came back to draw 2-2.

"The message is that with the fans behind us we are a better team," said Maresca. "I completely understand that, as a team, we have to engage our fans.

"That's something that on Sunday we were not able to do, especially for those 20 or 25 minutes. It is also on us to be good enough to engage our fans."

Ange Postecoglou's position as Spurs boss has come under fire after his side slumped to 15th in the Premier League.

He was as resolute as ever when questioned about his future.

"I don't define my career or me as a person by what people think of me," he said. "I never have and never will. If you don't think I'm a good coach today then you are not going to think I'm a good coach tomorrow.

"Even if we win, mate, one game is not going to make a difference to that. If people think us winning then all of a sudden I'm a better manager than what I am today, or losing somehow makes me a worse manager, that is their burden, not mine."

Can see Fiorentina making a third straight final and losing it to Chelsea, is it gonna be a case of always the bridesmaid never the bride? Seems like the flip side of Sevilla in Europa.
