    Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

A first sign of life for Motherwell, as Tom Sparrow nods a header just wide.

Encouraging for the hosts - it had been all Killie until then.

  2. End of season feel at Ibrox but not for Unitedpublished at 20:04 British Summer Time 14 May

    Rangers 0-0 Dundee United

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland at Ibrox

The gaps in the home crowd reflect a punishing campaign that's left most Rangers fans simply wishing it to be over and get cracking with the next chapter.

They'll want a win in this final Ibrox outing to at least finish here on a positive.

For Dundee United, this is massive. Anything here could be very significant in the pursuit of a European place. They've struggled in the top six but will look to capitalise on an opposition with little to play for except pride.

    Incredible stuff.

  6. goal

GOAL St Mirren 0-2 HIBERNIANpublished at 19:59 British Summer Time 14 May

    Mykola Kukharevych

Oh wow. That could be huge.

Two goals inside the first ten minutes for the Hibees!

Junior Hoilett powers down the left hand side, slips the ball in between two defenders for Myko Kuharevich who takes a touch before firing into the back the net. Lovely finish.

  7. GREAT SAVE!published at 19:57 British Summer Time 14 May

    Hearts 0-0 St Johnstone

Some slapstick play in the Hearts midfield allows Josh McPake to steal into the penalty area.

He cuts inside on his right foot, but his shot is tame, and well blocked by Ryan Fulton.

  8. Postpublished at 19:56 British Summer Time 14 May

    Dundee 0-0 Ross County

Ross County have started brightly at Dens. Eli Campbell's free kick forced Dundee to concede a corner.

It was curled in and deflected into the six yard box, but nobody in a County jersey could stab the ball into the net.

  9. 'We don't need extra motivation' - Thelinpublished at 19:55 British Summer Time 14 May

    Aberdeen v Celtic (20:00)

Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin tells Sportsound: "We need to always have fresh players on the pitch. I think it's the best team for today.

"Everybody feels the same [about the result against Rangers]. We have to do better as a team and support each other better on the pitch.

"Everybody has put it behind us now and we look forward to this game.

"Celtic have a really good squad, but we have to believe in what we're doing and our performance today.

"We don't need extra motivation. The game speaks for itself."

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 19:54 British Summer Time 14 May

    Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

There's a strong penalty claim for Kilmarnock, as Corrie Ndaba goes down in the box under pressure.

The referee is Duncan Nicolson, but he's not interested and neither is VAR Greg Aitken.

  11. CLOSE!published at 19:53 British Summer Time 14 May

    Hearts 0-0 St Johnstone

An early opportunity for St Johnstone at Tynecastle.

Steven Duke-McKenna bends in a dangerous cross from the left which Harry Milne has to divert behind.

The ensuing corner comes to nothing but the Perth Saints are moving the ball around nicely in a game they really have to win.

  12. goal

GOAL St Mirren 0-1 HIBERNIANpublished at 19:51 British Summer Time 14 May

    Martin Boyle

What a start for Hibs! Martin Boyle fires the visitors ahead after just three minutes!

It's a lovely pass from Junior Hoilett into the box for Boyle to send his shot into the keeper's far corner.

  13. Killie fans irkedpublished at 19:50 British Summer Time 14 May

    Motherwell 0-0 Kilmarnock

    Jane Lewis
BBC Sport Scotland at Fir Park

I was speaking to some Kilmarnock fans making their way into Fir Park tonight, and the vast majority are not happy.

They feel the situation regarding their manager seemingly heading to Hearts could have been handled better. They're disappointed that the news has come out before the end of the season, and many feel quite strongly that Derek McInnes shouldn't be in the dug out tonight, never mind for the Hearts game on Sunday.

It will be interesting to see how they react to their manager tonight.

  14. 'People want to get to the end of the season' - Fergusonpublished at 19:47 British Summer Time 14 May

    Rangers 0-0 Dundee United

Rangers interim head coach Barry Ferguson insisted pre-match his situation "needs to be sorted as quickly as possible" and admits "everyone wants to get to the end of the season".

"A few days to me is four, five, six days, or a week," he told BBC Scotland.

"I got pulled up about that with [the press officer].It needs to be sorted as quickly as possible. I'm not going to kid anyone, I think everybody will agree... People want to get to the end of the season and make sure who's going to be the manager.

"I'm sure it's not just the people, the staff connected to the club. I'm sure the players and most importantly the supporters want the new season... It's just around the corner."

In addition, he said: "I think everybody's playing for their future, there's no doubt about it."

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 19:46 British Summer Time 14 May

    And off we go.

  16. 'Big performance required' - Graypublished at 19:45 British Summer Time 14 May

    St Mirren v Hibs (19.45)

Hibs boss David Gray tells BBC Sportsound: "A big performance required. They’re in good form as well. They’ve still got their eye on finishing as high up as they can in the league as well.

“The games we’ve played against them this season, we’ve not put in complete performances, so we’ll definitely have to do that today.

On the changes: “It’s a little bit of freshness with the three games this week. Junior Hoilett brings that quality, and that experience is going to be invaluable in a game like this. He’s a calmness on the pitch as well.

"Miller has been nursing a bit of an ankle issue but he's fit enough to play tonight. He gives you that real athleticism and physicality you certainly need to play against St Mirren."

“It should be a brilliant atmosphere. The weather's nice, the pitch is good. Both teams have got everything to play for at this stage of the season. This is St Mirren's final game of there season so they'll be out in their numbers wanting the team to finish the season well.

"But it's about what we do tonight, not worrying about what's going on elsewhere and taking care of business tonight."

  17. Postpublished at 19:44 British Summer Time 14 May

The teams are in the tunnel across the country. So much on the line tonight, stick with us.

  18. 'Nothing has changed' for McInnespublished at 19:42 British Summer Time 14 May

    Motherwell v Kilmarnock (19:45)

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells Sportsound: "A lot's been going on. I had a good chat with Billy Bowie yesterday morning and he asked me to keep taking the team until the end of the season.

"I've always been professional and do what I'm told. I have such a good relationship with Billy and everyone at the club. It's important we try and be professional right until the end.

"Tonight gives us a chance to go above Motherwell, and Sunday gives us a chance to go seventh. The players have been in such good form of late that we can go into this game a wee bit more relaxed.

"The preparation has been exactly the same. You can't stop all the chat and whatever, but nothing has changed. I wanted to be as open and honest as I could with everybody."

  19. Record against County 'out the window'published at 19:41 British Summer Time 14 May

    Dundee v Ross County (19:45)

Dundee manager Tony Docherty: "We're looking forward to it. It's a big game but we need to focus on what we can do. We've got a game plan to execute and we want to follow that through and hopefully get us over the line."

On the three defeats against Ross County this season, Docherty said: "Sometimes it happens in seasons, but all that goes out the window. It's on tonight's performance and I have huge belief in the players and we can set about our business on the pitch."

  20. 'A brilliant occasion' - Robinsonpublished at 19:38 British Summer Time 14 May

    St Mirren v Hibs (19.45)

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Sportsound: "We’re playing some very attractive football, we’re full of running and energy at the right point of the season.

“We said on Saturday if we win it’ll be a full house, Hibs will obviously bring a big allocation of fans as they always do. It makes it a brilliant occasion.

“St Mirren being talked about as being still in with a chance for Europe with two games to go is testament to the group of players, and we can set up an occasion tonight where if we can take three points then it’ll all go down to the last game.

On facing Celtic on Saturday: “Of course [tonight's game] is the one where there’s a biggest chance of getting three points.

“90 degrees at Celtic Park will be a test for any team, but if we can set it up and we can take three points tonight, dependent on the other results, it puts us in a great position. "
