Jack Pitt-Brooke from The Athletic on the Alexander Isak: "That price tag obviously does create a lot of pressure. I'm just fascinated to see how it works, they've already got [Florian] Wirtz and [Hugo] Ekitike so it's a very new look front line for Liverpool this season.

"I'm not exactly sure what the combination of players will be in the front three but he is such a brilliant player and he's proven that at Newcastle United in the last few years."

Liverpool manager Arne Slot is the first cab off the rank this morning at 0900 BST. He is sure to be asked about Alexander Isak and whether the Sweden striker is fit to start at Burnley on Sunday.

Brighton's Fabian Hurzeler is also an early speaker, as is Newcastle boss Eddie Howe - who is also likely to be asked about Isak plus deadline day signing Yoane Wissa.
