I think that's an issue for Fleetwood - they don't score enough goals.

They're a lot better organised, solid defensively, but I think the one criticism is they don't put the ball in the back of the net enough.

The data and the the stats will speak for themselves - 19 efforts at goal, the goalkeeper Moore has made 10 saves. So they are hitting the target, it's actually being more clinical, isn't it?

Fleetwood win themselves another corner and this one goes flying towards the edge of the six-yard box.

James Bolton connects well but he's maybe just a hair away.

You can see Charlie Adam obviously wants them to play those one-twos around the box. We saw those intricate combinations, get the defender shifting, get him diving in, but keep the ball, manipulate them and get a shot on target.

You know he wants them to be in control of the ball.

Morecambe earn themselves a corner.

It's curled in but the men in blue and white have barely been able to make their move before Fleetwood keeper David Harrington has the ball safely in his hands.

Fleetwood launch a counter but the pass into the six-yard box is blocked.

The home fans are bouncing in the stands and they've given a lot to be buoyant about.

Fleetwood are unbeaten at home in their past four league games at Highbury and if things carry on as they are, they will have achieved something they haven't done since April 2023.

Morecambe have seen a lot more of the ball in this half so far though, so the Cod Army will need to keep on top of their game to make sure that record doesn't slip from their feet.

The Shrimps are having a little spell of possession in the Fleetwood area as substitute Marcus Dackers heads the ball towards goal.

It's an easy catch for keeper David Harrington but the intent is clear.

If it was five we wouldn't be complaining.

I think Morecambe's best opportunities have come from crosses. They've had a couple of opportunities, notably Stott hitting the crossbar.

Charlie Adam will go in and say, "lads, same again. When we're getting an attacking situations, pick the right option, get the right finish".

This could be a cricket score.

Goals from Ryan Graydon and Ronon Coughlan have given a dominant Fleetwood side a fully deserved lead at Highbury Stadium.

As well as his goal, Coughlan has been enjoying himself down the home side's right, supplying two dangeous crosses and striking the woodwork while Stuart Moore in the Morecambe goal has denied Danny Mayor.

Morecambe needed the half-time whistle, not four minutes of added time but in the fourth minute, Phoenix Patterson slipped in Coughlan to finish.

All that came after Ryan Graydon had headed Fleetwood's opener.

Morecambe's main threat looks like it will come from the long throws of Paul Lewis and Rhys Williams, and they have also hit the woodwork through Jamie Stott. But they simply haven't produced enough of a threat and allowed Fleetwood to dictate matters.

It was a beautiful ball. The way it was spotted, the way it was played. You've got a back three and it's gone right between all of them. But a fantastic run.

It's what they deserve. Just to be going in 2-0 at this stage, it could be six. That's no exaggeration, but that's the type of football that Charlie Adam is playing.

Morecambe are only 1-0 down despite what Fleetwood have thrown at them. Stay positive, stay in the game.
