Jobe Bellingham made his first goal contribution since joining Borussia Dortmund as Felix Nmecha's double helped the German club to a 4-2 win against Copenhagen.

Bellingham has found minutes hard to come by in the Bundesliga since making a £27m move from Sunderland in the summer, but marked his second successive Champions League start by setting up Nmecha's opener.

The German forward collected Bellingham's pass in the 20th minute before smashing in a vicious strike from the edge of the penalty area.

Copenhagen drew level in comical circumstances - Gregor Kobel did well to keep out a low strike following a corner, but could only watch as Ramy Bensebaini's attempted clearance cannoned off team-mate Waldemar Anton and into the goal.

Bensebaini redeemed himself in the 61st minute when he coolly slotted home a penalty after Serhou Guirassy was fouled in the penalty area.

Nmecha scored his second of the night when his 76th-minute strike took a deflection and left Copenhagen goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski wrong-footed.

Bellingham looked desperate to score his first goal for the club, but it was former Wolves man Fabio Silva who claimed a late fourth.

Viktor Dadason's late header creeped over the line for a late Copenhagen consolation.

Dortmund will travel to Manchester City on 5 November with seven points after three games, while Copenhagen remain winless after drawing with Bayer Leverkusen and losing 2-0 to Qarabag.
