Norwich are unbeaten in five league games against Stoke City (W3 D2) since losing 1-0 at home in the 2018-19 season.
Stoke have lost their last two league visits to Norwich, last losing three in a row between 2004 and 2007.
Norwich have won their opening two home league games this season for the first time since 2014-15. They haven’t started a season with three home wins on the bounce since 2006-07.
Only Cardiff and QPR (15 each) have lost more Championship matches in 2023 than Stoke (13), with the Potters now losing eight of their last 12 games (W2 D2). Only one of their last 41 league defeats has been by a margin of more than two goals, losing 4-0 to Watford last October.
There have been just six instances so far this season in the Championship of a player creating six or more chances in a game and half have been Norwich’s Gabriel Sara – nine against Hull, six against Millwall and six against Rotherham.
