Armando Dobra's second-half equaliser helped Chesterfield fight back to draw at home to 10-man Port Vale.

The visitors got off to a great start, opening the scoring in the second minute when Connor Hall's cross from the left eventually fell to Jayden Stockley inside the area and his shot found the net.

Chesterfield goalkeeper Max Thompson made a comfortable save to keep out a Lorent Tolaj header.

At the other end, Dobra tried a low shot from distance which was easily claimed by visiting stopper Ben Amos, who then made a good save shortly afterwards to keep out a Tom Naylor effort.

Vale went close when Jaheim Headley's low shot was deflected just wide.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men in the 51st minute when Mitch Clark was shown a straight red card after committing a foul.

Naylor headed wide from a Jack Sparkes cross and Dobra hit the side netting before the latter equalised on 76 minutes, slotting the ball past Amos after dispossessing Tom Sang on the edge of the area.
