  1. Atmosphere igniting at Bramall Lanepublished at 20:49 British Summer Time 13 August

    HT: Sheffield United 1-1 Wrexham

    Chris Wathan
    BBC Sport Wales

We’ve gone from greasy chip butties to 'Bread of Heaven' and back again here.

Two corners, two big men at the back, two goals.

I’m not sure either Phil Parkinson or Chris Wilder will have been too pleased with the set-piece defending, but if nothing else it’s ignited the atmosphere.

There was a bit of needle after those FA Cup ties mentioned earlier, and it’s creeping into this one too.

  2. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:48 British Summer Time 13 August

    Carlisle 0-1 Stoke City

Stoke City hit the bar for the second time tonight.

On this occasion, winger Million Manhoef cuts inside and delivers a powerful strike, which Carlisle goalkeeper Harry Lewis can only watch as it cannons off the frame of the goal.

  3. 'Blackburn stepping off the ball'published at 20:48 British Summer Time 13 August

    Stockport 0-4 Blackburn

    Steve O'Halloran
Former Stockport defender on BBC Radio Manchester

Maybe a step off the gas from Blackburn. It's giving Stockport more time on the ball.

It's important for County to keep their shape. What they don't want this game to develop into is an attack-vs-defence. It's a big test for this young County backline with the quality in front of them.

    Have Blackburn declared?

Ten minutes into the second half in one of the earlier kick-offs and Rovers are cruising into the next round.

    Goals, goals, goals!

That has been the story of the first half.

It's half-time in most of the games, while the early kick-offs are under way in the second half.

    Lots more action to come!

  6. goal

GOAL: Carlisle 0-1 Stokepublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 13 August

    Freddie Anderson (49 mins)

Not a bad debut for 17-year-old Freddie Anderson.

Lewis Baker sends in a cross towards the back post and the teenage defender heads the ball home.

  7. 'Derby need to maintain momentum'published at 20:38 British Summer Time 13 August

    HT: Derby 1-1 Chesterfield

    Darren Robinson
Former Derby coach on BBC Radio Derby

What a great goal! I'm really pleased for Liam Thompson. He has a nice relationship being built with Kenzo Goudmijn.

It's been the nature of the beast from Chesterfield - setting traps. The only chance they had, they've taken it.

Derby need to maintain their momentum.

  8. goal

GOAL - Sheff Utd 1-1 Wrexhampublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 13 August

    Auston Trusty (35 mins)

Sheffield United level! Auston Trusty meets a corner at the far post with a powerful header which is brilliantly cleared by a sliding James Jones - he's convinced he has saved a goal but the technology shows it was centimetres over the line!

    Goal stands.

  9. goal

GOAL: Norwich 2-2 Stevenagepublished at 20:34 British Summer Time 13 August

    Louis Appere (45+1 mins)

What an end to this first half at Carrow Road.

Stevenage are level again and it's from a corner on the right hand side.

Harvey White's in-swinger goes all the way through and the goal has been awarded to Louis Appere - who gets the faintest of flicks, if he even touches the ball at all!

Either way, we're all square again!

  10. goal

GOAL: Watford 2-0 MK Donspublished at 20:32 British Summer Time 13 August

    Tom Ince (45 mins)

Tom Ince doubles the lead for Watford before half-time.

Imran Louza's lofted ball over the top finds Ryan Andrews wide on the right.

He flashes a ball across the box for Ince to tap home.

    Watford in control.

  11. goal

GOAL - Sheff Utd 0-1 Wrexhampublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 13 August

    Will Boyle (29 mins)

Who writes these scripts etc etc...

The League One side lead at Bramall Lane, defender Will Boyle had gone close early on and now puts them ahead.

A corner is nodded down and Boyle is free on the six-yard line and can't miss.

  12. goal

GOAL: Cambridge 0-2 QPRpublished at 20:29 British Summer Time 13 August

    Paul Smyth (36 mins)

Cambridge goalkeeper Jack Stevens won't want to see that again.

He does not get a clean hold of the ball and QPR's Paul Smyth is there to tap it into the empty net.

  13. 'No one expected an upset'published at 20:28 British Summer Time 13 August

    HT: Stockport 0-4 Blackburn

    Steve O'Halloran
Former Stockport defender on BBC Radio Manchester

I don't think anyone was expecting a chance for County to cause an upset. There's a lot of youth out there. It's a professional job from Blackburn tonight.

You can't say it's been mistakes from this Stockport side. You'd hate to see a 16 or 17-year-old make a mistake on his debut but they've not really put a foot wrong, they haven't looked out of place. It's just been quality from Blackburn.

  14. goal

GOAL: Derby 1-1 Chesterfieldpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 13 August

    Liam Thompson (37 mins)

    What a finish!

Liam Thompson takes the ball off Dajaune Brown just inside the area, catching the ball on the bounce with a right-foot half-volley into the top corner.

We're all level at Pride Park.

  15. goal

GOAL: Leyton Orient 2-0 Newportpublished at 20:26 British Summer Time 13 August

    Diallang Jaiyesimi (45+7 mins)

Right on the verge of the half-time break, Diallang Jaiyesimi doubles the home side's lead with a powerful finish for his first competitive goal for the club.

  16. goal

GOAL - Preston 1-0 Sunderlandpublished at 20:23 British Summer Time 13 August

    Ryan Ledson (37 mins)

No manager - no problem! North End lead at Deepdale.

Ryan Lowe has left but Ryan Ledson has stepped up, the midfielder hitting a shot which takes a horrid deflection to give the Sunderland goalkeeper Simon Moore absolutely zero chance.

  17. goal

GOAL: Fleetwood 2-1 West Brompublished at 20:22 British Summer Time 13 August

    Ronan Coughlan (33 mins)

    The home side lead!

A lovely one-two between Ronan Coughlan and Mattie Virtue sees the former tuck the ball away for 2-1.

    Is the cupset on?

Not much happening at Ashton Gate - Kasey Palmer has gone close against one of his former clubs, dragging a shot wide.

  19. goal

    Onel Hernandez (35 mins)

    Onel HernandezImage source, PA Media

This game has sprung into life in the last 15 minutes.

Norwich move the ball at pace through the pitch with a lovely team move, with Onel Hernandez meeting Jack Stacey's ball and finishing high into the corner to give the home side the lead.

A first goal in 18 months for Hernandez.
