This weekend the EFL was back with a bang as all 72 teams got their seasons under way during a hectic four days of action.
Bromley beat Harrogate in the club's first ever EFL match in League Two, while there was a chastening 4-0 defeat for former England captain Wayne Rooney in his first competitive game in charge of Plymouth Argyle, at Sheffield Wednesday.
Portsmouth marked their return to the Championship with a thrilling 3-3 draw with title favourites Leeds United at Elland Road, and Millwall remembered their former goalkeeper Matija Sarkic with some touching tributes before an entertaining 3-2 loss to Watford at the Den.
Wrexham got their League One season off to a winning start as they beat Wycombe Wanderers 3-2 at home.
And last night, Luton Town and Burley faced off at Kenilworth Road, having both been relegated from the Premier League last season, with the Clarets claiming an early statement in a 4-1 away win.
