Katie McCabe's long throw-in falls perfectly for Jess Ziu, who travels forward before attempting to curl a strike into the top corner.

She comes within a whisker of pulling it off, but the alert Constance Picaud palms the danger away.

Julie-Ann Russell does latch onto the rebound with her strike lacking the pace to test Picaud.

The first bit of real quality in the game results in a Northern Ireland goal.

It was good work from Kerry Beattie to find Casey Howe and the winger also did well to drive into the box and pick out Joely Andrews, who had darted into the area.

What a start to the second half!

The other home nations are also in action on this Tuesday tea time.

In the Republic of Ireland's group, England are currently being held by Sweden in Gothenburg.

As things stand, that would be enough for automatic qualification for the Euro 2025 finals for the current reigning champions.

In League B, Kirsty Hanson has put Scotland ahead at home to Serbia while Jess Fishlock has been on target for Wales against Kosovo.
