    Liverpool 1-0 Real Madrid

Ridiculous to think this Liverpool side lost four Premier League games on the spin with how they've played tonight.

Spurs absolutely running riot here. Brennan Johnson's sending off suddenly feels completely irrelevant.

Randal Kolo Muani almost makes it three goals in five minutes but Dominik Kotarski smothers.

Dominik Szoboszlai has been so good. His performance tonight has typified everything about Liverpool.

  5. A new goal of the season?published at 21:27 GMT

    Tottenham 4-0 Copenhagen

    Michael Emons

When Richarlison scored a sensational scissor kick against Burnley on the opening weekend, Spurs boss Thomas Frank said it was going to be the goal of the season.

He may be changing his mind after a truly incredible run from centre-half Micky van de Ven, who started from inside his own half and kept going, and going before providing a finish any centre-forward would have been proud of.

That's what the Tottenham fans want to see. Truly sensational goal.

And another goal soon after. Spurs supporters in dreamland. Four-nil up, and a man down, in the Champions League.

A change is being readied on the Real bench but it's not Trent Alexander-Arnold, it's Rodrygo.

Harry Kane looks in some serious discomfort with his foot after coming away from a tussle with Nuno Mendes.

There is no clear contact between the two players and Kane's reaction is delayed as he limps awkwardly away and grimaces.

One to keep an eye on.

    Joao Palhinha

It's bedlam at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium!

Another superb goal. Joao Palhinha picks up the ball from Cristian Romero and crashes home just moments after Micky van de Ven had the ball in the back of the net.

VAR had a quick look at that for a potential offside but it's checked and cleared fairly quickly.

    Tottenham absolutely all over Copenhagen.

    Curtis Davies

Micky we have seen him do it so many times. He drove past one and he drove past another and then once he got the steam, there is no stopping him. He slots in into the bottom corner like an accomplished striker.

    Liverpool 1-0 Real Madrid

    Stephen Warnock

Anfield absolutely erupts. Madrid have been on the ropes. Dominik Szoboszlai doesn't fizz it in too hard, he allows Alexis Mac Allister to use the pace on the ball to glance the header.

It is fully-deserved by Liverpool. They have been tenacious in every challenge, they have been progressive with the way they have passed forward.

Well that is some goal. My word.

Micky van de Ven charges through Copenhagen - through the middle of the park, breezes past the defence, slight look up and unleashes into the back of the net.

Goodness me. From a centre half! Men against boys, that.
