Stevenage moved top of League One by beating Luton 2-0 at a sold-out Lamex Stadium.

Second half goals from Chem Campbell and Jordan Roberts secured victory over their near neighbours on a windy afternoon.

Both sides had one good chance in the first half. Luton's Cohen Bramall fired inches over on five minutes when he got goal-side of Dan Sweeney and then Jamie Reid's prod forward when goalkeeper Josh Keeley lost the flight of the ball was blocked by Mads Andersen.

Keeley and Filip Marschall both made stops early in the second half before the opener arrived on 65 minutes when Dan Kemp forced the ball to the edge of the area and Campbell curled it delightfully into the far corner.

Roberts had been on the pitch for two minutes when a Reid flick ran kindly for him to thump inside the near post.

Reid should have made it three eight minutes from time but fired wide when clean through.
