Partick Thistle bolstered their lead in the race for the Scottish Championship play-offs to seven points with an important win over fellow promotion-chasers Queen's Park.
Logan Chalmers' stunning volley after just five minutes gave Thistle the perfect start at Hampden against their Glasgow rivals.
Chalmers thought he had doubled Thistle's lead after the break, but his second strike was ruled out for offside.
However, the winger raced through in stoppage time to tee up Alex Jakubiak to score his first Thistle goal since signing last month, which sealed victory.
The Maryhill side, led by striker Brian Graham as interim player-manager alongside former Celtic defender Mark Wilson, stay fourth in the final play-off berth.
However, they are now seven points clear of Morton and Raith Rovers, who both have a game in hand.
Queen's Park are a further point back in seventh as Callum Davidson's side's promotion hopes were dealt a blow with eight matches to go.
