    Feyenoord 0-0 Aston Villa

Ollie Watkins' pace is causing huge problems for Feyenoord. He dances around the goalkeeper and sees his shot superbly blocked on the line. Although, on this occasion, Watkins had gone just too soon and the flag is up for offside.

    Dan Ndoye (22 mins)

It was as if that goal woke Forest up as they've been attacking ever since conceding.

Morgan Gibbs-White puts an excellent low ball into the box and Dan Ndoye hooks it home under pressure.

Up until that point Midtjylland have been cancelling each other out. They get the ball in the right area. There is no way the ball should be bouncing in there from a Forest point of view.

  6. Ahmedhodzic stays on for Feyenoordpublished at 20:20 BST

    Feyenoord 0-0 Aston Villa

Feyenoord and Anel Ahmedhodzic are very lucky. Referee Rade Obrenovic decides to stick with his original decision of yellow card, after going to the pitchside monitor and reviewing the decision.

So often when a referee gets sent to the monitor, the decision is changed. Not this time, much to Villa's frustration, with the English side then wasting the free-kick.

  7. goal

GOAL - Nottingham Forest 0-1 Midtjyllandpublished at 20:18 BST

    Ousmane Diao (18 mins)

Forest don't defend a free-kick well and they fall behind.

Midtjylland pump the ball into the box, Mads Bech flicks it on and Ousmane Diao turns the ball in from very close range.

Hang on. Is that Anel Ahmedhodzic challenge going to be upgraded to a red card? Referee Rade Obrenovic of Slovenia runs over to a pitchside monitor to have a watch and judge if that was a clear goalscoring chance for Ollie Watkins when he was fouled.

  9. Postpublished at 20:17 BST

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Midtjylland

More like it from Forest as they have their first two shots in quick succession. Callum Hudson-Odoi cuts in from the left but doesn't get enough curl on his 20-yard shot and it's wide.

  10. 'Atmosphere wants the game to flow'published at 20:15 BST

The atmosphere wants the game to flow, even if there is a few challenges.

The early yellow card, the players have worked the referee out.

Elliot Anderson had great feet. The only thing he couldn't do was calm himself enough for a shot on target.

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Midtjylland

Brilliant bit of skill from Elliot Anderson to skip by a couple of Midtjylland players but then shoots miles over from distance.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:15 BST

    Feyenoord 0-0 Aston Villa

A free-kick for Villa on the edge of the penalty area after Anel Ahmedhodzic is not quick enough and brings down Ollie Watkins. That's a yellow for the home defender.

    Feyenoord 0-0 Aston Villa

A short, neatly-worked set-piece almost gives Feyenoord a chance, only for Emiliano Buendia to make a vital block to charge down home captain Sem Steijn's powerful effort.

I don't think this will count as a shot on target for Forest but Elliot Anderson's corner is headed out to Ibrahim Sangare, who sends a header back into the box which the away keeper grabs.

Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was originally named on the Villa team sheet, but he picked up a knock in the warm-up as Marco Bizot is now in goal for the visitors.

Bizot makes a strong two-handed punch when under pressure too and that will be a boost to the back-up keeper's confidence.

Feyenoord have started well so Villa will need Bizot in good form at the atmospheric De Kuip.
