Forest have conceded two sloppy goals from Midtjylland set pieces and have struggled to respond since going behind ahead.

Dan Ndoye's leveller looked like providing the platform only for the visitors to regain the lead two minutes later.

It has been a stuttering performance so far from the hosts. Not the game or performance the City Ground demanded or expected.

Goalless at the break. I'm not totally sure how it is, but it is.

Villa thought they should have had a man advantage when referee Rade Obrenovic was sent to the monitor and decided to keep Anel Ahmedhodzic on the pitch.

Then Feyenoord thought they had scored, but the goal was ruled out for an earlier foul.

Luciano Valente looks for the top corner from range for Feyenoord. He would have found it too had it not been for an acrobatic one-handed tip-over-the-bar from Marco Bizot.

One of the best 0-0s you could wish to see so far.

Forest's Dan Ndoye can't quite control a ball over the top and touches it out of play.

Villa's Ian Maatsen gets half a yard to whip the ball in from the left, but it nearly catches out home keeper Timon Wellenreuther, who has to fling his arms up to make a quick reaction save.

Midtjylland have been set piece kings for years, their threat from dead balls was referenced in the pre-match press conference yesterday with Ange Postecoglou.

You would expect Postecoglou to be quietly ranging on the sidelines having twice been undone by two soft goals.

Feyenoord boss Robin van Persie is furious his side don't have the lead. A corner comes in from the right and Ayase Ueda's header clearly sees the ball go over the line before Marco Bizot can claw it away.

But, much to Villa's relief, the referee judges that Matty Cash had been fouled before the ball reached Ueda. No goal, still 0-0, just.

Igor Jesus comes back on, so Chris Wood can sit down again on the bench.

This is turning into a nightmare for Forest. Igor Jesus is down and the physios are on.
