United trying to play out from the back is painful to watch. How do such expensive players have such a poor first touch and why are there so many poor passes? It’s bewildering.

Dara: Solskjaer was pilloried for sitting back and hitting on the break with lightning speed. All United do now is have improved possession stats by passing backwards relentlessly. I’d love to know the % of passes that go back.

Bodo/Glimt make a first foray into the Spurs half but the attack is cut out and the hosts can get on the break.
A bit of sloppy play in the middle of the park gifts the ball back to the visitors.

Victor Lindelof has looked unsure in the opening stages but the United defender comes to his side's rescue with two great blocks.
Alex Berenguer is denied after Inaki Williams is afforded so much space down the wing.
Djurgarden 0-1 Chelsea
Jadon Sancho plays a lovely ball across the box in to the path of Tyrique George but his shot from a tight angle goes wide.
Marc Cucurella picks up the ball and has a shot but his effort goes narrowly wide of the post.
Chelsea have settled into the game now and are starting to take control.
Athletic Bilbao 0-0 Man Utd
Apart from Alejandro Garnacho's disallowed goal, Manchester United have not shown too much in terms of an attacking threat.
But Ruben Amorim will be reasonably pleased with what he has seen so far. United have weathered an early storm and have enjoyed 61.5% of possession.

Bodo/Glimt are just about sorting themselves out off the ball. I think they have worked out that if they let Rodrigo Bentancur have the ball they will be in less peril than if other players have it.

Inaki Williams has got to score. It's wonderful play on the left-hand side by Athletic Bilbao. He's got a free header and nobody's picking him up.
That's a really poor miss.

Real Betis have taken an early lead over Fiorentina in the other Conference League semi-final.
Abde Ezzalzouli's shot looked to have gone over the line after smashing down off the bar and was soon confirmed after a brief VAR check.

This pitch is worse than even I expected. It really impacts the way the ball moves, causing it to slow the game down and longer balls don't roll on as you would imagine.
It has perhaps levelled this match up between a team fifth in the best league against a team 11th in Europe's 20th best league, according to Uefa's official rankings.
Both teams have had a shot apiece but Djurgarden looks better early on in perhaps the biggest game in their history.

Chelsea are knocking the ball around nicely but they haven't troubled Djurgarden so far.
It's comfortable for the home side.

This is everything we expected it to be.
It's fast and frantic. And it's being played against the backdrop of a ferocious atmosphere.
One disallowed goal at one end, one fine save at the other.
