Partick Thistle laboured to a 1-1 draw with Scottish Championship bottom side Airdrieonians in their first match under interim management duo Brian Graham and Mark Wilson.
Following the departure of Kris Doolan, player/temporary boss Graham opened the scoring after 15 minutes, having been fed by Kanayo Megwa to sting the Diamonds on the break.
Thistle came close to a second as half-time approached, Ben Stanway's curling effort striking the post, and Logan Chalmers following up only to be denied by Keiran Wright in the away goal.
Airdrieonians levelled 10 minutes into the second period, Adam Frizzell leading a counterattack and finding Ben Wilson, who kept his cool to equalise.
Thistle had a penalty claim waved away on the hour mark as Wright collided with an opponent in the box after a defensive lapse, but the game fizzled out with little quality on show in the closing stages.
The Glasgow side remain fourth in the table, with Rhys McCabe's men marooned 10 points adrift at the basement, having played a game fewer than Hamilton Academical above them.
Partick Thistle interim manager Brian Graham: "We need to continue to work them hard but we also need to be cautious because we need to keep them fresh.
"We'll see how next week pans out. There could be a new manager in come Monday. Otherwise I'll keep preparing as properly as I can."
Airdrie manager Rhys McCabe: "We've had a few positive results. What we do have is we've always got players on that pitch that can create chances.
"There's far too much quality on that squad to not create chances."
