Following a 1-0 away win in October this season, Watford are looking to complete a league double over Swansea City for the first time since the 1982-83 top-flight campaign.
Swansea City have won two of their last three away league games against Watford (L1), as many victories as across their previous eight trips to face the Swans (D1 L5).
Watford have lost all three of their home league games in 2024 – the only previous time they’ve started a calendar year outside the top-flight with a longer such run was in 1972 in the second tier, losing each of their first seven home league games to begin the year.
After a run of just one win in eight away games in the league (D3 L4), Swansea have won each of their last two such games – last winning three in a row in October.
Emmanuel Dennis could become the second Watford player to score in three successive home league games this season, after Mileta Rajovic in November 2023.
