It was picked out from Toone to Clinton who fired it hard, but centrally at Spencer.

    Spencer did exceptionally well.

    Much better from Manchester United!

Ella Toone expertly cuts the ball back to the edge of the area to Grace Clinton and Rebecca Spencer does really well to react and palm her effort over.

You never know what's going to happen when Drew Spence hits it from distance...

She tries to curl one towards Phallon Tullis-Joyce's goal from around 20 yards out and the United goalkeeper has to jump to tip it over.

Good playing out from the back from Man Utd, but if the final pass went through they would have been through.

Once the ball switched over Spurs had players forward, Thomas and England are working closely alongside each other.

The poor finish from England let off Man Utd.

Manchester United try to play it out from the back, but they're constantly pressed with intensity by Tottenham and eventually the visitors make an interception.

Martha Thomas then passes to Bethany England but she can't hit the target at the near post.

    All Spurs so far.

Tottenham have definitely had the brighter start. They're playing the ball out from the back with most of their moves coming down the left.

It's working at the moment. The hosts are stuck in their own third.

Exactly what Tullis-Joyce was practicing in the warm-up. Splitting her legs and going down the line making herself as big as possible.

That shape with her legs gave Martha Thomas very little to shoot at.

    Tottenham come close!

Drew Spence and Bethany England play a lovely triangle before knocking the ball down the line to Martha Thomas.

Phallon Tullis-Joyce sprints off her line and closes the space to save her close range effort.

Lots of early pressure from Tottenham in the first few minutes of the game, trying to find a way into the hosts' half. United are holding them back for the time being.

Last season when Martha Thomas transferred from Man Utd to Tottenham she was the main striker.

She played a bit part at Man Utd and she will have more of a point to prove coming back here where she felt she wasn't given a full 90 minutes.

We're not too far away from kick-off now and the players have just finished their final warm-ups at Leigh Sports Village.

Melvine Malard is front and centre of the matchday program, but she won't feature today after suffering a knock against Liverpool in the League Cup 11 days ago.

This should be a cracking fixture, though. These two sides finished four points within each other last season, with United fifth and Tottenham placing sixth.

Spurs came agonisingly close to grabbing all three points here last season, with Maya Le Tissier coming to United's rescue with a late equaliser.

I've been in a position when you lose a FA Cup final and Spurs will have massive revenge energy.

It will be huge motivation for the Spurs players and Robert Vilahamn.
