I think Alyssa Thompson's done really well, especially in this game. She's a positive player. She runs at defenders and she's not scared of doing the defensive side of the game either.

It's squad depth Chelsea didn't necessarily need.

She cuts in from the left wing and tries a right footed curler, but it flies wide.

This game has gone rather flat after the early Chelsea goal blitz.

It is over as a meaningful contest.

It will be a miracle for West Ham to get something from this game with the way they've been playing and then being down to 10 players.

It's hard. It was already hard at 3-0 down. They haven't helped themselves, the defending has been poor.

West Ham have been so sloppy in this first half. They've been second to everything. That pride they had at home last year we haven't seen at all today.

Indeed, you may remember Germany being reduced to 10 players early doors against France at Euro 2025 after Kathrin Hendrich pulled Griedge Mbock Bathy's hair after 13 minutes.

Germany held strong and eventually won that game on penalties.

It would be astonishing if West Ham won this one.

I think Ines Belloumou's trying to argue she pulled Alyssa Thompson's shirt but you can clearly see she's pulling her hair. We saw this in the Euros as well and you can't do it.

It's a silly red card and West Ham are punished.

We have a short break in play after that sending off, with both sides getting tactical instructions.
