Summary

  1. All eyes on Cherki, Maignan and Gittens?published at 08:30 British Summer Time 10 June

Three of the most talked-about deals that could go through today involve both the Premier League clubs involved at the Club World Cup.

Manchester City completed the signing of Rayan Ait-Nouri from Wolves in a deal worth £31m on Monday.

Now it is a question of whether a deal for Rayan Cherki (pictured) will get across the line. Sources inside the club were calling reports of the transfer being agreed as 'premature'.

Man City could opt to wait until after the competition to complete a deal - however, given the financial rewards the Club World Cup is offering, they could push to get the deal done today.

For Chelsea, yesterday's gossip suggested an offer of £29.5m had been rejected by Borussia Dortmund for English winger Jamie Gittens - could an improved offer be made today?

The Blues have also been heavily linked with a move for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan, which is another one to keep an eye on.
