  3. Brugge fans checking their phonespublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 3-1 Club Brugge

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

It is the Club Brugge fans nervously checking their phones as the clock ticks down.

It will take a three goal swing in favour of Dinamo Zagreb in the final five minutes to deny them.

Or for Stuttgart to pull off a miracle against PSG - they currently trail 4-1.

  4. 'Savinho-Gvardiol combination crucial for two of the goals'published at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 3-1 Club Brugge

    Izzy Christiansen
Former England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think the half time change bringing on Savinho to hug this left hand touch line and to give Brugge something to think about has opened up this game. Josko Gvardiol has also been excellent in finding the spaces for Savinho. The combination of the two was crucial to getting two of the three goals.

  5. Coman scores for Bayernpublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Bayern Munich 3-0 Slovan Bratislava

Kingsley Coman finishes from close range for Bayern Munich.

Ramy Bensebaini produces a delightful chip over the head of the Shaktar Donetsk goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk after latching on to a super backheel from Gio Reyna.

  10. Rodrygo nets second of the nightpublished at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Brest 0-3 Real Madrid

Rodrygo has scored his second of the night and his 10th goal in 10 games as he gives Real Madrid a 3-0 lead at Brest. Looks as though they'll have to settle for the play-off spot with Brest going down the same route.

  11. Atalanta level againpublished at 21:41 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Barcelona 2-2 Atalanta

Atalanta are level again! Mario Pasalic gets in-between two defenders and prods the ball between Wojciech Szczesny's legs.

Atalanta are back up to ninth and another goal will send them into the top eight.

The equaliser means Liverpool go back to the top of the table.

  20. Heavyweight collisionpublished at 21:38 Greenwich Mean Time 29 January

    Man City 3-1 Club Brugge

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport's chief football news reporter at the Etihad Stadium

There is a bit of movement left in that 36-team table but Savinho's goal seems to confirm Manchester City's status as the 22nd-ranked team.

That means a meeting with either the 11th or 12th placed team.

While some clubs are moving around, Real Madrid, who are winning, seem set for one of those two places.

A few minutes ago, AC Milan were in the other. That has now changed to Bayern Munich, who are also winning.

Who would you prefer to face? Jude Bellingham or Harry Kane.
